about

Tim learned Margaret Mary Robinson from a recording of Eugene O’Donnell, on a record called “3 Way Street” with Mick Moloney and Seamus Egan. In their notes, they say that he learned it from Cape Breton fiddler John Campbell. The Sweetness of Mary is another Cape Breton tune, which Sophie taught to Tim so she could play it on the piano.
